Problems with Exterior Siding

The technology and composition of siding materials has changed over time. Products thought to be superior at one time or another or products that were inexpensive to produce and install have been used by builders and by replacement contractors for many years.

Take Masonite Exterior Siding for example. At one time, this was the one of the best choices available. However, time has taught us a valuable lesson. Masonite siding does not hold up to wind and rain very well. When paint has worn off, masonite siding soaks up water like a sponge!

How about Aluminum? Well besides being a terrible insulator and one of the materials most likely to transfer heat, It also dents. Not much value in it's impact resistance if you can actually see every instance of impact!

And what about Vinyl Siding? Besides being very thin and easily blown off of your home, vinyl siding can tear and is very difficult to get paint to stick to it if you want a color change.

Wood looks great but, termites also like wood. Plus, when it is exposed, water will get in to the pores and dry rot will begin. Unprotected wood is an invitation to an expensive repair.

The solution becomes clear!
