Lead Safety and Protection
If you’re home hasn’t been repainted since 1978, it could have lead-based paint. Working with painters trained to manage lead-painted properties can reduce risks of illnesses caused by lead dust and paint chips. We can keep you and your family safe from lead risks with painters trained in proper removal techniques.
In addition, we use paints with sustainable raw materials and formulations that are low-odor and low-VOC’s to reduce their impact on the environment, like Sherwin-Williams GreenSure product line.
High Quality Prep Work
A home’s exterior should be repainted every 8 to 10 years with normal wear and tear. Locations in harsher climates should be redone every 3 to 4 years. Traditional latex-based paints need temperatures above 60° F to cure properly.
Given these factors, thorough surface preparation is needed to ensure a long lasting paint job. Our painters will ensure that your home will be prepped correctly at the start of the project. In addition, we’ll also protect parts of your home’s exterior that don’t need painting from splatters and possible over-spray paint damage.
